Don't let anyone else hold the candle that lights the way to your future because only you can sustain the flame.

I dont think i liked the latest Cable issue featuring Scott. Most likely stemming from me not liking wifi.

Oh well, I guess today's issue pretty much spoiled why there won't be any love left in the Summers House. Beats divorcing over Krakoan politics, I guess.
It's the little things, right? For instance, compare the amount of time Scott and Jean have spent with either of the kids when their spouse wasn't around. Just some food for thought.
It will and I'm suuure Editorial will keep reminding us of Scott being on Team Let Kid Cable Stay will be super wrong and super evil. Even though, you know, the consequences of swapping Old Cable and Kid Cable will set up a string of unfortunate consequences that Old Cable will have to deal with in present time, lol.
Honestly, I'm still trying to figure out what's the rush of sending anyone back to the future in, well, basically any time travel story, ever. It just comes off as the writers arbitrarily picking which paradoxes/loops/timezones matter and patting themselves on the back for it, you know?
P.S. Not a big fan of time travel in general, lol.
Honestly, time travel is an entirely exhaustive concept for me at this point. The phoenix is definitely overplayed, but time travel is still the winner of being an overused trope.
Well, to be more exact, there seems to be a focus on Scott as a parent, not Jean. So, when it comes to character arcs, family doesn't seem to be a focus for Jean in this era as of now. That doesn't exactly send a good message either for what might come in the future. Scott's staple is his family, without it, who knows what he'll do.
In fact, something is still stirring with Vulcan, Havok probably has something with Maddie later, and Jean might very well end up closer with Logan. Rachel seems to be the only one without anything potentially stirring the pot as of now. Things seem like they might be falling apart all around.

Best canonical explanation so far is that she's too busy hanging out at parties and murdering plants. Being dead serious, here.
For the sake of fairness, maybe she's just creeped out by the Kid Cable/Cuckoos thing and has a history of just kind of randomly hating Rachel on principle.
