I have no clue what to make of the Batgirl movie in the first place, so while I'd like the first modern live action appearance of her (and all characters) to be as close to the comic version as possible, I'm kind of at a loss overall and I guess I'd welcome anything in terms of casting, haha.

If comic accuracy denies actors roles, then we need let that down. She is amazing in In The Heights and she'll do an amazing job. So many kids have someone to look up to.

I hope she does an amazing job bringing one of my all time favorites to life.

I still wish there was a theatrical release, even a limited one.

Oh, and there had better not be any sort of recreation of the Killing Joke "scene". WB you did the animated version, leave it alone now.
