Ok I'm officially more excited for Brendan Fraser in this movie. I love Babs, but now I'm more excited for whatever Brendan Fraser is doing in the movie.

I've very happy to read that Brendan Fraser has been cast as Firefly. He is a great actor and it does seem we are getting Batgirl Year One movie which is awesome.

Having just read The Long Halloween Special , Babs is Gordon's niece not daughter . But I like it much better that she's Gordon's daughter in present continuity. I hope that the producers go that route. They'll need to have Gordon , Bruce and Dick cast also for it to be a proper Year One story.
