Really good issue! I’m very disappointed in who the person turned out to be who Fisk was seeking in the last issue since I was hoping for someone not so predictable and stale at this point (I’m sure someone behind the scenes is aware Daredevil has enemies other than Fisk and the revealed character, right?), but other than that I must say I liked this issue quite a bit. Really good stuff all around.

Yeah I totally agree. Good issue but would have been fun if the person was someone else.

So Daredevil is locked up again. Ok, we have seen that in Brubaker's run.

Someone filling up for Daredevil? Ok, we had Spider, Black Panther and Iron Fist doing that a few times.

An evil twin brother posing as Matt... Is this a soap opera now?

It’s not THAT bad but yes some originality would be more than welcome.

I also agree that the reveal was disappointing. How many times do they have to revisit this rivalry, I'm so bored of it now. The few pages of Elektra were good, though I would really be impressed if they brought Nina McCabe back to show what happened last time Elektra took an orphaned young girl in.

Pretty good issue. Fantastic Checchetto art. I read the previous issue (which I liked btw) again before reading the current as per usual. The character reveal was also disappointing for me BUT it would seem that Fisk is "upgrading" him somehow so I'm intrigued. Saying that, I still would have preferred someone else. I like what Zdarsky's doing with Matt inside. It's going to get even more interesting, I reckon. I'm not too keen on Elektra having a sidekick, but we'll see.

In that case they could have very well just used someone else or an entirely new character. Alas...here were are...same ol’ same ol’ which is at this point the theme of this entire run. Well done same ol’ sane ol’, but still...

And yes Checchetto’s art continues to be absolutely stellar.

Hello, I'm a big Daredevil fan who hasn't been followibg his comics for a long time.

It seems the current run is great, and I'd like to know if there is a recent jumping on issue. Maybe from the current arc.

    Thanks!

I'd go with #23 maybe. Elektra enters the picture. Kingpin implements the new crime hierarchy.

You can start as recently as issue 25.

Yes, I agree, someone else would have been more original. Soule did a great job on bringing in some new characters. Waid was pretty good in bringing older almost forgotten characters.
