When I was collecting all the Daredevil appearances, I picked up the ASM Gang War issues with Daredevil (#286-288). I also have ASM #396 and the conclusion of that story in PPSSM #219.

I never was a fan of the Daredevil armour but I can understand the benefits of it.

Read issue 36. So I'm guessing the whole reason why Devil Reign is happening is because of Kingpin not knowing DD identity and not cause of something happening to Mary like I thought

Seems that way as far the preview goes at least.

I think the side of the narrative about Izzy and Byron has been pretty good so far around. But I am not sure I like seeing hide and seek again with Daredevil's identity.

Butch you mean, right? And yea, yet another story about secret identities is quite disappointing.

I wonder how far Chip plans on pushing Butch. I'm still not sold on Butch being the next Kingpin over the likes of the Owl, Mr. Negative, Silvermane, etc. Not to mention the fact that Fisk's other son Richard is back and I doubt he's going to be passive aggressive when it comes to vying for power. Although I admit, it would be interesting to see Richard Fisk vs Byron "Butch" Pharris someday.

As far as the Devil's Reign preview is concerned, I'm not as enthusiastic about it as I initially was. Didn't Charles Soule have Fisk in mayor mode go after Daredevil and friends? I could've sworn he did. Also with Typhoid Mary being a known super villain, it's funny how the mayor marrying her is acceptable but the superheroes (all of whom have saved Marvel's New York countless times) isn't. Then again, Fisk was elected mayor so maybe I shouldn't be surprised.
