Fine issue. Fine art. Fine story. Fine action. Fine cameos. Fine ending. The same criticisms I’ve brought up time and again about the run as a whole still apply. But, overall, I liked the issue just fine.

I quite enjoyed the new issue. Mike Hawthorne's art is slightly growing on me but there's still something I can't put my finger on which I'm not keen on. I'm not sure if it's the inking or the inking and colours together that give it a computery graphicy feel which I don't like. Hawthorne does seem to know how to tell a story through the art, though. A lot going on and the simultaneous double action of Elektra and Daredevil works quite well. I like how the story is moving quite rapidly forward in the jail. I know Hammerhead is heated up but he's an experienced fighter and veteran gangster and shouldn't have been so quickly upstaged by Butch. Fisk's and Mary's relationship still seems a little off. Other than that, #32 is not a bad solid issue.
I mean, my first go-to is Frank Miller - defense of the Gladiator, the PCP killer, Paper Chase, and Revolver all involve Matt's legal career.
I think, recently, Mark Waid did it a little more, but his ghost lawyering was obviously a very different approach. Ed Brubaker did a decent amount with both Fear Itself and Cruel and Unusual.

Anyone have any guesses as to how Bullseye is pulling off his latest trick?

Imagine getting Gareth Evans to direct a Daredevil show or movie. The epicness that would ensue!

I don’t think there’s been any indication of Fisk working with the Hand. Maybe Bullseye made a deal with the Hand since the latter may know Elektra is trying to stop whatever they’re up to now. But if they did why would they agree to come at her as they did instead just as themselves with Bullseye?

There was a 5-issue mini on Ravencroft last year that I didn't read and won't read now haha but maybe Zdarsky is pulling some material from there. Maybe in Ravencroft, Fisk has some cloning tech.
