If there was no KIB tie in I honestly don’t think these last 2 issues would’ve been all that different than what we currently got. Obviously there wouldn’t be any symbiote/Knull stuff but the main beats probably woulda been more or less the same regardless.

Which is why I don’t mind the tie in all aspects all that much because it doesn’t feel awkwardly forced into the story. To me at least.

Pointless. A lot of this tie in was pointless. The story stopped for two issue for nothing.

Oh, I don't know spoilers:

I thought it was very good how Matt resisted the symbiote and fought Knull mind-wise. It shows how Matt has grown mentally. I thought it was really encouraging, I don't know how many other heroes have fought Knull in such a way.

I'd rather not have the tie-in, but the 2 issues worked on their own independently although there will be some fallout regarding any characters affected by the symbiote spoilers:

i.e. Mary Walker. Also, the tie-in demonstrated Matt's strength as per my earlier point. It was good also to see how Elektra tried to think what Matt would do when she was having problems

For a tie-in issue, I thought it was fine. While it didn't really change much, we did get some continued development for both Elektra and Matt which is good. Look forward to getting back to the main story and that Chechetto is back full time for a couple of issues.
