It prolly depends on what they end up doing with Echo.

The fact that she already has her own show before even being introduced in Hawkeye suggests they have some big plans for her. Admittedly I don’t know nothing about her abilities or feats but I wonder if they’ll make her the “Hawkeye” equivalent for whatever Thunderbolts/Dark Avengers mash up team they currently building.

Also I think Echo is distinct enough, I do wonder if/how elektra will be in the MCU since Echo plays a similar role.
If Netflix wasn’t bold enough to bring that part of Karens story to the screen when they can do more adult content, the far more family friendly DisneyPlus certainly will not.

She can perfectly copy any movement not unlike Task Master.

    Yea it is a shame.

Unlike with Task Master, at least they cast the role properly this time.

What stories wouldn’t sit well today?

NWH is just over a month away so we’ll get our first idea of how Matt will be in the MCU. Considering that they have the same actor in the same role this may not be too dissimilar from how he was in the Netflix show.
I think the heroin addiction and porn actress/prostitute content would be definitely seen as sexist and misogynistic today. At the very least it would be extremely controversial and a lot of MCU fans (particularly women) would be really offended by it (in my opinion). So I would leave those things behind should the Daredevil "franchise" enter Feige's MCU. And I do think the similarities between Echo and Elektra are close enough that Disney might just use Echo instead of Natchios. Echo is much newer to the Marvel Universe than Elektra so that's why I'm thinking they might use some of Elektra's story in Echo's. I do think the MCU is adding too many characters too quickly at the moment, so I can picture Disney doing something different with Daredevil than what Fox and Netflix did before.

I couldn’t care less who it offends especially with today’s ridiculously fragile sensibilities. Catering to that odious lot compromises creative and story integrity. Karen’s journey from that horrid period in her life to trying make her way back to Matt is one of the most compelling parts of her story. It’s not one that should be censored to appease that abhorrent lot who seek grievance at every turn and that’s unfortunate since that is who the MCU (and most Marvel and DC comic books sadly) is acquiescing to based on their divisive and lackluster output since Infinity War.

Or they can tell Echo’s story and introduce Elektra later on and tell her story, too.

Eh...As you previously stated earlier in this thread, there's no chance Disney is gonna go dark with the Daredevil franchise. If Netflix didn't do it, I don't see Marvel Studios doing it. I mean, Disney removed the MCU's "first sex scene" in the Eternals at the behest of several governments in North Africa and the Middle East in order not to offend audiences there. Karen's story was compelling but I personally enjoy the MCU remaining family-friendly. I'm not too sure with how Disney will handle Elektra and Echo. I don't think Feige and his team are interested in killing off Natchios and then resurrecting her through "magic" in the MCU. The MCU's been pretty grounded thus far.

Absolutely, I'm tired of seeing people thinking vulnerability as a weakness. It's not

This same thinking got us from Mockingbird being a victim of SA to it being retconned to lying about it and telling Clint he was dumb to believe anyone could make her do something she didn't want...
This retcon was done is the name of Feminism in a very feminism heavy run as well, by Chelesa Cain(a bi women IIRC, before start blaming it on men).

They ruin great stories and won't write good ones because they are so afraid to write vulnerable women, which is so backwards I cant' even. The message is harmful instead of helpful

Yes, that Cain Mockingbird retcon was pretty awful and didn't even make sense. I'm sure a lot of people at Marvel want to forget it and in time will treat it as non-canon.

Yeah, I still can't believe there wasn't a massive backlash to how Taskmaster was portrayed in Black Widow. That has to be the weakest point in the movie.

There will be another DEVIL'S REIGN #1 exclusive variant (and virgin variant) from Unknown Comic Books coming next week. It will have art by Marco Turini, featuring Elektra as Daredevil.

Pretty sure I saw complaints, just small scale?
