The ending of Daredevil's Season 3 defies its canon with respect to how the secret New York's organized crime leader from Hawkeye series is revealed to be Wilson Fisk.

I mean, so far all we have is a photo. Absolutely nothing else has been revealed about him other than the fact that he runs the Tracksuits, mentored Maya, and used Clint to kill her father. It seems likely that he's existed on this world the whole time and wasn't blipped, though, since Clint's murder of her father happened in those five years. As for his reason to stay out of crime at the end of season three, a lot of things could've happened with Vanessa between Infinity War and this episode.

Aside from Poindexter I think there is a very slick chance that someone is going to harm her. Now if she dies by some car accident or some medical reason. Then it will be even more stupid for him to return like that.
