Daredevil sketch on the right by Philip Tan, inking on the left by Daniel Henriques.

I have an immense respect for inkers, in particular those who ink very "sketchy" sketches.

Right? Her run still is my favorite run on this character.

Same here. Ann's run is what made me a life-long fan of Daredevil and his world. It's criminal she never gets the recognition she deserves for it.

Ann's run is highly regarded among fans but maybe not by Marvel. I believe it took a long time to be collected (now in Epic collection) and still no omnibus.

Certainly a better run than Soule's, which makes the above quote funny.

Highly debatable to say the absolute least, but to each their own and all that.

I’d say her run is more bonkers than great. It has a few cool moments and fights but it takes a hard turn into being really weird really fast and I think that’s where it may lose some people and perhaps why it’s not as well revered as others.

That’s really interesting since her run soon strays so far from DDs world and ancillary characters for the most part.

Yeah. While I liked Soule's run, I enjoyed and loved Nocenti's a whole lot more, overall.

I think it will eventually get collected in Omnibus format. It's only a matter of time.

Btw, Soule's run is one of my favourites, top three definitely. The only thing that bothered me was bringing back Mike Murdock and the rushed ending.

I would agree with this. It's a very "unstable" run, not really knowing where it's going. It does have some great moments but also terrible ones. The art by JRJR and Al Williamson definitely made it a memorable run with some great art at times.

Not sure what was originally stated, but it seems everyone is going with the '89 Update version from...

I think it's great and I think some of the best stories haven't even been collected yet.

That being said, I think it was polarizing by the end with people definitely hating the Mephisto arc and people who hate change disliking the arcs surrounding it (the traveling arc and the amnesia arc). I think people started to believe her Typhoid Mary arc was great but discounting the rest.
