We Got This Covered is not always a reliable source. However, saying that, it would make sense for Fisk to be in the Echo series due to her origin in the comics.

Yes, unfortunately it seems that Marco Checchetto isn't the artist on this one, only the cover. Mike Hawthorne will be on art duties

Might make sense, but there's no reason to assume it. It depends on how much of her backstory they draw upon and what they feel like changing.

Also, doesn't Sony own the rights to the Kingpin when he's not being used for Daredevil?

Yes of course, Fisk does not have to be used in order to set up Echo. The movies and series have changed various aspects from the comics.

Wilson "Kingpin" Fisk is shared by both Sony and Marvel and he can be part of the MCU as long as it's related to Daredevil.

Here's an interesting article on the Kingpin rights:

I just looked it up (thanks to the Sony leaks, I have the contract itself).

“Kingpin” and related characters listed on the attached Schedule 7B, but SPE may not use any of these until after Fox’s production rights to Daredevil expire. Marvel’s use of Kingpin is restricted to use in connection with Daredevil and other characters with which he appeared prior to 9/15/11.
Parts of a Hole is circa 2000 so we should be good on that front.

Interestingly, I wonder if Disney would argue they inherited Fox's rights and have exclusive access to Kingpin right now.

Even if they did inherit the rights, Fox lost production rights to Daredevil when they didn't make another movie and the rights reverted back to Marvel. This happened before Disney took over Fox. Or am I miunderstanding your reasoning?

I had a momentary brain fart so no reasoning at all.

I thought that Soule cover would benefit from special treatment such as foil. There's just so much more you can do with stained glass.
