Is it strange that no one has made note that there’s a Daredevil running around Hell’s Kitchen even though he’s in jail? What’s stranger is that no one has made Matt aware of this? Or maybe Elektra hasn’t don’t anything newsworthy even though she’s been thrashing people around the place for information? Surely someone would have addressed this by now whether it be a guard at the prison or the warden? Or are we expected to believe Matt well serve out his term without knowing this at all? Or that the Kingpin as mayor remains unaware of a Daredevil running about?

Yep, we definitely differ here. I actually grew to like Rivera and Javier Rodriguez quite a bit.

Yes, I do agree that Waid's run had very dark elements but the "light" art could be deceiving. It was as heavy as you get. I believe the art was quite intentional to try and also highlight how Matt wanted to be i.e. positive and upbeat even though he was hurting deep down, which all came to the surface later on. I do feel that there was an era where everyone was competing with how dark can you get with as little dialogue as possible. Waid's run kind of turned the tables which wasn't a bad thing. I just wasn't s big fan of Samnee's interior art.

I think another great artist that I would love to see draw Daredevil regularly is Patrick "Patch" Zircher:

Yes, it's very weird. I get the sense that Zdarsky has somewhat lost interest and isn't much into the details and cohesiveness anymore.

When a Black man is murdered by a police officer in New York City, Luke Cage is called to action. But what does a good man do when protecting the streets puts him at odds with his own people? A cadre of crooked cops named the Regulators are out to terrorize ordinary citizens, and with Daredevil determined to bring them down no matter the cost and Mayor Fisk equally determined to use them to tighten his grip on the city, it’s up to Cage to keep the city from completely going up in flames. Joined by an exciting lineup of artists (Farid Karami on #1, Ray-Anthony Height on #2 and Sean Damien Hill on #3), celebrated creator Ho Che Anderson (King: A Comics Biography of Martin Luther King, Jr.; Scream Queen) makes his Marvel debut with an ambitious, hard-hitting story unlike any you’ve seen in the 616. Change is coming — and it starts here.

Let’s hope that’s not the case. The news of another Daredevil has to surface soon, I’d think.
