Funnily enough, in the Elektra movie they also had her with a girl who she had to care for or protect. What is it with paring Elektra with some adolescent kid she one way or another finds herself responsible for?

Yeah I wasn't saying the performance was bad, just that the character seemingly had no powers.

She didn’t. No display of her pyrokinesis as I recall.

Could Daredevils powers have somehow mitigated his exposure to the chemicals released in the explosion and he’s only acting as he was in the last issue to maintain control of the legitimately insane prisoners and that’s why he called in Cole because he thinks he can trust him to help put an end to the chaos? In other words what I’m saying is yes I hope he’s faking as some of you do too.

ok that one was a random crazy person and seemingly had no powers.

Also apparently the Elektra movie had "Typhoid Mary" as an enemy.. except that one has the ability to poison people by touching them.
I hated how they made the majority of The Chaste into villains in the Elektra movie. Overall, a weak film. One of the deleted scenes has Daredevil

This is what I'm hoping for. The "...now Daredevil is going to kill me" could be a red herring.

It would seem they tried to make the various Netflix series as little fantasy/science fiction as possible and as "realistic" and grounded as possible, hence also the lack of acrobatic skills and swinging from building moves by Daredevil.

The right direction to take those characters to be sure but maybe they took it too far at times. That said, I don’t mind too much that Daredevil wasn’t swinging from rooftop to rooftop. It would have been nice to have more scenes of him traversing the city like in season one to show how quickly and effortlessly he can move through and around obstacles that would normally be too difficult for anyone else except for a guy like Spidey.

I thought the Hand were the villains. I didn’t know the Chaste were in it.

I would have preferred if they'd added a few effects to make his fighting more effective visually as per the MCU.

The Hand are the villains but Stone from The Chaste in the comics is depicted as one of the villains in the movie whereas the other asassins attacking Elektra in the movie possess similar powers of the Chaste from the comics IIRC. The movie was quite the train wreck.

I recommend you read it to the end. I'm curious as to what you and others think of the ending.
