I love that people are looking at every obscured suited character and going "could that be him?" If he's supposed to be so secret, I don't think he'll be in the trailers at all.

He may not but I’m hoping for at least a quick shot at some point.

Ya I did not see him yet. Was hoping for a glimpse. I am still very hopeful.

Yep. Just a glimpse would be fine since I doubt he has a substantial role in the movie anyway with everything going on.

I feel like this would be the type of thing you'd save for the film itself, especially since he (most likely) won't be in the film beyond a few scenes at most.

That’s not unlikely at all. But I have a feeling that in a second or third trailer they may show more of that scene where Peter is in custody being interrogated and there we’ll have our first shot of Matt even if it’s no more than him walking in as Peter seems overwhelmed with what’s happening and says he’s going to need a lawyer.

I’m sure Peter won’t be as insufferable or ungrateful as Jessica was in Defenders but NWH may play out similarly based on the one trailer we have so far. Or maybe NWH will introduce Matt as Peters lawyer differently. Doing this scene again with Peter would probably feel too repetitive and cliche.

Same here. I love Spider-Man and always have. I just love DD that much more. The way the 3 seasons were on Netflix well I just loved them. Charlie Cox was born to play DD/Matt Murdock just as Robert Downey Jr was born to play Ironman/Tony Stark.

The Netflix show is not one I have too much praise for but it has some outstanding moments in seasons one and three especially. Cox by far was the best casting choice.
