Young Avengers Appreciation - 2021

Back in Outlawed #1, there was this cover that featured some of the Young Avengers (I think it was Kate, America and Tommy) and people wondered what role they could have on this story. At the time, someone even said that Outlawed was supposed to affect everyone, even young heroes who were 21 or more. Ultimately, it doesn't seem like the event ended up being as encompassing as originally planned, but maybe some ideas were thrown in there towards the end. Or maybe all they were ever supposed to do was be a moral support for the younger heroes. lol

The first Outlawed issue showed CRADLE at the WCA headquarters but that never went anywhere.

That contradicts everyone else's ages, as she would've needed to be 19 in volume 1 and yet appeared in a school uniform (she was actually 16). She should've been 18 in volume 2.

Yes, Kate was randomly aged up at the time by Gillen and the Hawkeye writer.
The team in general got a sudden age up in Gillen's run.

I'm hoping we will get some sort of Young Avengers hint on the Timeless one-shot we're getting this December. It's supposed to be all about Kang, The Conqueror and serve as a hint for the Marvel stories that will be in the spotlight next year. I mean, I'm always hoping for more YA content, but now that Kang is heavily involved and he just got a book that features Nate... Marvel has no excuse to keep ignoring the team, right?

Except for an incorrect roster (including Ghost Rider who's actually on the main Avengers, and Reptil, plus Gwenpool was still there when she's now meant to be on Krakoa) seen celebrating when the law gets repealed in Champions #9. I'm sure New Warriors wasn't the only Outlawed comic cancelled by COVID - we just never learned about the rest. There could've been something YA related. It's pretty odd that their page in Marvel Comics #1000 wasn't followed up on.

No, it just means that she is choosing to play with some of the inflatable toys, same as some of the other heroes present. We know Bobbi can swim--we've seen her do it before.

Such a weird choice I mean even Eli is like 16 I feel they bit themselves in the foots making her older than all the other YA, like I doubt the Minimoffs will jump to 20 upon their return, making her 22 automatically eliminates 2 of her canon romantic interest. Just so weird too me I wonder if she'll be associated with YA at all.
