what i meant was, i do see sinestro being drawn much larger than hal from time to time, but didn't realize he was that taller than hal.

Everything is in continuity now, but this particular story is an alternate Earth within the infinite Multiverse. It wouldn't fit within the main DCU because, from the preview I read, it seems to swap out Hal for the main character's Vietnamese grandmother.

Outside of the main character Tai living in Coast City and having a cat named "Jordan", not really. John Stewart is his mentor and he knew Tai's grandmother who was a former Lantern that Tai inherits his ring from. Otherwise there are no direct references to the actual Hal Jordan or whether or not he exists in that universe. Unless we're to assume that Hal is an actual cat in this continuity.
