It's a strange choice for sure. I can't see Hal opting for such an over-the-top look (yes, I know the Parallax armor exists but it honestly has a very different vibe than this).

Man, some of the Morrison stuff being adapted in outside media would be a trip. Maybe they could do an animated short inspired by it and make it part of their DC Showcase line.

I'd love to see a short based off "Emerald Sands".

I don't mind seeing Hal go Super Saiyan. But I do appreciate that there's a logic behind it.

It works when it's done right. Geoff didn't do it right in the New-52 JL. I did like that Hal was calling Diana "Di" in The Darkseid War though. Small examples like that suit him. I can see him having nicknames for some of his teammates. But the "dibs" line or the other nonsense was just that, nonsense.

It kind of seemed weird to me that they could bring back Eve who's pretty much a non-character whereas Dorine was a character with significantly more history with Hal and an interesting background story to boot with the headmen colonizing her world, etc. The bronze age run with Dorine and the Omega Men is pretty cool.
