One of THE most cringeworthy, eye rolling moments I've ever seen in movies.

Over the years I've learned to accept that Batman & Robin is basically like a 2 hour episode of the 1960s show. It can be a guilty pleasure if you can try to suspend your disbelief enough. Too bad I can't see Green Lantern the same way, perhaps because I care about the featured character more than I do about Bruce Wayne or Dick Grayson.

Batman has enough excellent media adaptions under his belt that one bad movie can only really be the source of humor. It can't buckle his IP the way the Green Lantern film did. I think it's fair to still be a bit bitter about the GL movie's torpedoing stuff like GL:TAS.

    Probably not healthy, but fair.

For me it's probably more to do with Reynolds' nonsense. We've had dozens of bad superhero moves over the years that we moved on from. This guy did not allow that movie's failure to just stay in the past, he had to mock it in both his Deadpool movies, he keeps mocking it to this day and eventually it got to the point where even WB hopped on the bandwagon. It's one thing for people to make fun of a bad movie, it's another for the company that owns the IP to make a concentrated effort to portray the character who happened to be in that movie as an incompetent hero that Superman can't stand or any of the other crap they did. They treated this character like garbage and then threw him away like one. There's still bitterness about it because of what these people did for no reason. Besides we're currently in the middle of a heat wave, so bitterness is just natural. lol

Didn't he stop mocking it recently where he said that he finally watched it and it wasn't that bad?

A lot of the mocking came from the fact that he and everyone involved basically went through hell with the movie. It was his way of processing his feelings I understand. Sucks that Hal was caught up in the carnage of it all. But yes he did make peace with the film after watching it recently.
