I think the HBO Max show is all we're gonna get for a while. If that's a hit, then the Hal/John movie will follow
That's something to look forward to this March.

    (Disney have better PR).

Honestly, even if the show does prove to be a hit, given the current state of the movie industry I find it more and more questionable that WB would be willing to shill out north of $200M on a movie that noone could predict would even end up making it in theaters. Especially with the company's recent track record. Wouldn't be surprised if Hal or John end up showing up in the subsequent seasons of the show instead.

No, please. We couldn't save the rest, but keep Hal and John out of Guggenheim's mitts.

i wonder how profitable it would be if wb focused on making movies intended for hbo max (as opposed to releasing it on theaters).

i do recall reading that wb plans on increasing their dc movie output for the next couple of years.

I think that's a very good possibility as well. I would be very surprised if the season finale of the HBO Max show doesn't at least tease Hal and/or John

that would be cool. getting people hyped up for next season, if there ever was going to be one.

(although all the teasing cw arrow did with hal was a disappointment)

So Hal is nowhere near the first issue of Green Lantern.
