Some good stuff with Hal and the League in Last Ride this issue as well. For all those bemoaning the lack of Hal interacting with his fellow Leaguers, this is exactly what you've been asking for.
Hope that story ends well for him. So far it's been good and the art is a show stealer.
It's interesting in this issue that Hal does go to sleep during the night.(unless he was pretending) I was wondering about him and how human his still is, now that he's all fiery all the time. Still waiting to find out what happened there...(thought we can guess)
I wonder if there is any chance HBO Max doubles back to GLTAS. I know it is not the GL image they are trying to put out there right now but the more stuff from a popular property to the better right?
I think the cost of the CGI would make it cost prohibitive, but if the GL HBO Max show is a big success and the film finally gets greenlit and looks strong, I can see them reviving the show, but with a change in focus to a more ensemble show featuring John, Guy, Jess, Simon, and Alan, in addition to Hal.
Man, some of the Morrison stuff being adapted in outside media would be a trip. Maybe they could do an animated short inspired by it and make it part of their DC Showcase line.
