Thibert was waaaaay underrated in general, but the Jurgens/Thibert combo remains one of my fav art teams of all time.

Yeah, wasn't a huge fan myself.

On the other hand, they made him the 'senior statesman' of the Green Lantern Corp. He was a founding member of the JLA. Everyone wanted him on their team. It was before they had completely nerfed the rings, so he was heralded as the greatest Green Lantern ever wearing the most powerful weapon in the universe.

As far as respect goes, It was really the best Hal ever had it. Even when he was homeless and wandering the country 'finding himself', people saw it and respected it. I'll take that kind of respect over the push to make him an irresponsible loser who can't hold a job, or a girl, or a command and needs the whole corps to take down threats.

Grey hair was annoying, but I really loved 90's Pre-parallax Green Lantern.

Fair point, with age comes wisdom and respect....I'd still rather he used the just for men to cover up those grey side burns lol.
