I'm actually wondering if they might adapt from the "older Hal, younger John" dynamic that was rumored for the films. Sinestro has his Sinestro Corps. uniform so maybe Hals' Johns-era adventures already happened.
As long as it's not "Hal went rogue, rookie, and we have to take him out" then it should be fine.
Furthermore, I doubt they'd even do that dumb idea. Hal may have a small role or just not get addressed.
Well, John kind of showed up out of the blue in the last animated movie universe. Could be the same for other GL's as long as this current continuity keeps running .
Ok , I don't know where to post this but here goes.
Did anyone notice that GL #7 had Killowog on the cover and both stories had nothing to do with Killowog ?
Does anyone know if it was a mix up with Cover & stories or what was it ?
I think that GL could support another book, although I don't know the sales figures.
We know that Hal is out there alive & Killowog too.
But we don't know anything about Kyle & Guy .
I would like to see Jo interact with Hal at some point.
The disparity between the covers and the actual content of what's in the GL book has been a problem for a loooooong time. It's why I was so hesitant to get the GL Annual, because Hal being on the cover meant literally nothing.

Don’t see them ever making Hal evil again, his most popular stories have him as a good guy and the star, but he will end up having to fight for appearances in other stuff.
