I want Steven Blum to record Silver Age era Hal lines. Like "I'll never wear my power ring again! It's been a curse to me!"

I think his Hawkman run is very decent.

I thought Venditti certainly improved over time.

I agree with Bored that he's a solid B+ writer for the most part. Main thing I've read of his so far that I've actually really dug was his Hawkman.

Hal & Pals and Superman '78 work were both fine/serviceable.

His mini-run on JL however was bad imo.

I actually enjoyed his JL run a lot, thought it was solid filler. Of course I’m sure his writing of Diana is why it fell short for you. Venditti is solid but he never really seemed to have any deep love or appreciation for Hal.

    You know me too well.

I think John is Venditti's GL of preference but his Hal was fine even it wasn't Morrison's or Johns during his heyday.

His version of "incompetent leader" Hal made me drop the book. His Hal from "HJ&GLC" was much better, though his stories were all lackluster, imo.

I remember how hyped I was for Hal leading the Corps. only for that to turn out to get deflated pretty quick.

My first warning sign was when Hal showed up and Carol immediately put them "on break" and then not long after moved on to Kyle, for...reasons.

I steered clear of that run by reputation so my only experience with his Hal is his Rebirth run.

It's something Joe Staton introduced in the first Tales of the Green Lantern Corps miniseries. I think it's meant to be an infinity symbol.
