Yep. It's on the first page of the story. I like that he puts it back on after he crashes on Oa, even though it might not have any juice left.

And he's always in costume with or without a ring. That's usually the case in TGL too. Wonder if they abandoned the aspect of the costume disappearing if his ring isn't charged or he isn't wearing it. After all how else can he remain in costume even if the ring has no juice left. Or is it supposed to be just because he's still wearing the ring and therefore can keep the uniform just without using the ring.

It's also why Hal was shoehorned into the final issues of Green Lanterns despite those stories clearly being about Jess & Simon.

Ah, that makes sense. I haven't read it so thought it was weird that Hal was in costume but without the ring.

It's curious though, did they really do this story on such a tight deadline? Alex Sinclair is a great colorist and I don't remember ever seeing something like this from him before.
even the colors on hal's shoulders and forearms looked rushed.

plans must have changed if this isn't the original story dc solicited.

I enjoyed issue 11. Seemed Grant was making some commentaries but I bet most of it just flew over my head. I am glad for titles that reads better the second or third reading.

Morrison's commentary about Hal's current position within the GL franchise was hilariously unsubtle

But, yeah, this is a book, like Final Crisis and Seven Soldiers, that I look forward to rereading again and again.

Yeah, I feel like either something bad happened between Priest and DC or DC recently changed their plans for Hal/GLC and had to adjust as fast as possible.

Is Priest working on other DC titles? If plans have changed, he could have re written a different story. Not unless there's a conflict schedule.

In perspective I wish there was a JL team-up too because sometimes I joke whether those guys even remember Hal anymore, but I'm glad we got the Flash and Arrow issues.
