Might as well add to the impressive art gallery in this thread with a faux cover of my own.
Taking nothing away from Pam Grier, whom I understand was the original muse for Monica's appearance, but my version of Monica was influenced by sportscaster/actress Jayne Kennedy and Phylicia Rashad going way, way, waaaaaaay back. To this day, I still find it hard to draw Monica without one of the two coming to mind.
