Captain Marvel, the new Avenger in town, became good friends with fellow team-mate, the mutant Wanda Maximoff.
As well as an invaluable ally to Doctor Strange: the Sorcerer Supreme against Dracula.
Captain Marvel's father, Frank Rambeau is a retired fireman of the New Orleans Fire Department.
Frank met his wife Maria in the U.S. Military.
Captain Marvel's mother, Maria Rambeau is a successful seamstress.
When she was younger, she was a member of the USAF.
She was then known as Maria "Photon" Rambeau.

Hate to say it, but it's probably a good idea to put Monica's current nom de guerre, "Spectrum" in the thread title. That will help newcomers to the forum more easily find Monica's appreciation thread. Most of them don't even know that Monica was Captain Marvel, especially the newbies brought here from the MCU.

I still want to see Monica go nova in an outer space setting. I don't care what happened at the end of that mini-series where she "expunged" most of her demigod-level powers.
