True, but most women experiment with different designs and change things up as desired. Outfits to project their mood. I imagine Monica has those days when she feels dark and mysterious...and very dangerous.

I also think it would be fun to see her cosplay the costumes of some of the other heroes...maybe in a Halloween issue of Avengers or something. Monica as Jean Grey Marvel Girl. Monica as Scarlet Witch. Monica as Psylocke. Monica as Valkyrie, Mystique, Elektra, Dark Phoenix, Magik, etc., etc., etc.

I like what the MCU did with her eye color changing when she uses her powers. But I'd like the color to vary depending on what type of energy she's using, e.g., green if she's using gamma rays, purple if she's using ultraviolet, red if she's using infrared, etc. And her eye color could be a way of informing the viewers that Monica isn't actually visible as most of the electromagnetic spectrum can't be detected by the normal human eye. Shades of ESPN. And yet, it's much deeper than that. Because at least ESPN can say while we were wrong for making it a zero sum game, we didn't play favorites. Marvel plays favorites. I had an interesting idea when I saw this. What if, after this 'Last of the Marvels' storyline ends, these characters get together to form some kind of cosmic team? It could be the next evolution of the Captain Marvel book.
The line up could be Captain Marvel (Monica Rambeau), Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers), Captain Marvel (Mar-Vell), Captain Marvel (Genis-Vell), Captain Marvel (Phyla-Vell) and Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan). We could call them the Marvels or the Captains Marvel or the Captain Marvel Corps or something like that.
To borrow an Al Ewing analogy, if the Guardians of the Galaxy are the Space Avengers and S.W.O.R.D. are the Space X-Men, then 'the Marvels' could be the Space Defenders, where they come together to take care of the weirder, more cosmic, more esoteric space threats that the Space Avengers (GOTG) are not equipped to handle.
Would anyone be interested in a book like this?
