    Anything further just p.m.

Some do,some don't but most do in real life.
Some are black, some brown and some are white.
In comics however there are larger amount shown as brown but it's hard to say if the majority are asiatic looking or not.

Here is clearly asian looking moonstar.

    Danielle Moonstar (Earth-616)

I go into more details what i think here about native americans in comics and real life.
    https://community.cbr.com/showthread...rs-Black/page3

Are Native American Indians fundamentally Asians?yes
    http://genetics.thetech.org/ask/ask41
Um, the last link seems to say something else.

Native Americans have similarities to Asians, such as similar eyes, but they're not Asian. Many Native American individuals have Asian features, while others have European features, but they're a distinct group of varied peoples.

There are not asian meaning currently or recently not from asia or born there.
What i mean most are racially asian/asiatic.
Asiatic is just a racial term for phenotype, replacing the word mongoloid that is oudated.
Mongoloid /ˈmɒŋ.ɡə.lɔɪd/[1][2] is the general physical type of some
or all of the populations of East Asia, Central Asia, Southeast Asia,
Eastern Russia, the Arctic, the Americas, parts of the Pacific
Islands, and some northeastern parts of South Asia. Individuals within
these populations often share certain associated phenotypic traits,
such as epicanthic folds (epicanthus), sinodonty and neoteny. In terms
of population, it is the most widely distributed physical type,
constituting over a third of the human species.

So most native americans are in real life Asiatic racially.
Others are black, white and some are intermediate race types(brown).

Think of asian blacks and african blacks.
There are blacks indians and blacks in papua new guinea but many of them are not african, they are asian but have origins from africa thousands of years ago.
There are white indians(india) and white arabs but they are not european.

In comics it's hard to say if most native americans are Asiatic racially when it comes to looks or intermediate race types(brown).

I don't think anyone calls Indian people black anymore.

I think race is more of a spectrum, not just four or five groups. And I think Native Americans are distinct enough to be their own, with many smaller groups within it.

Native americans are not thier own race, that's the point i am trying to make.
There are folks who believe that, but i don't agree.

    There are asiatic,black,brown and white.
The folks of india are of all races of man as well.
There are black indians, brown ones, white ones and asiatic ones.
Most indians today are brown but originally the population of india was black.

Racial categories are still used like black people, white people, brown people etc..
So it's not outdated if a cop arrested you and they put down what race you you belong to.

I know, but the science I've read doesn't support that. Race isn't just a few groups. Genetics has debunked some of that.

Well in real life(our universe) some do not like to use the word race, but use the word subgroups of the human race.
    Black,white,brown and asiatic.
Phenotype is what folks see first so that is seen as the most important before dna.
Most folks still use race however.

Ok, but I prefer to base it on the science.

Meaning you rather use subgroup instead of the word race?and what would describe someone who looks like pamela anderson?
You would not call her white/caucasian?
    Just european?
If someone describe her as white/caucasian it will not be outdated science in my view or any of the other race/subgroup category i talk about above.

I remember when I was into the height of Avengers being one of my top books - and issue #227. With Captain Marvel. Game. Changer.

It's interesting - because I'd love for her to take over the "Captain Marvel" handle in the MCU too. But that's probably not gonna happen, because even in WandaVision she uses her pilot name of "Photon" before she even has powers.

I think Photon or Spectrum is a more unique name.

Ok, I'd call her white in conversation but I wouldn't classify her as white

Agreed - but I knew her as Captain Marvel for years. I'd only read a few issues of the original Captain Marvel (Mar Vell) back then - and mostly guest appearances. So she was always "Captain Marvel" to me.
