Monica's father hasn't been mentioned yet in the film/shows yet, has he? Odd...

for the CM2 movie, I wonder if her "original" comics costume will be given a gag reference as a Mardi gras outfit that Monica wore at some point in the past..

I think it was said he left her and her mother, if I'm not mistaken. Not sure why that is.

Maybe that can be a plot point in a future movie

Actually I looked at the MCU wiki to be sure but I couldn't find why. Maybe they never explained

He's dead, but the relationship that I would liked to have seen was Monica with Supreme Power Nighthawk (Earth-31916). If there are any MCU people scoping this, please make it happen. We all know it's just a matter of time before the Squadron Supreme make it to live action. Might as well plant the seeds now for Monica and Kyle to meet in CM2.

I'm hoping for no romances for the foreseeable future. The MCU has a poor track record and I'm far more interested in Monica's relationship with Carol and possibly her interacting with Ms. Marvel and Skrulls.

It's a safe bet that he won't be. That's the point of my "Dear Santa MCU" ask. I want them to consider it, since I have a strong hunch they're going to end up using the Squadron Supreme at some point. Maybe not until Phase 50, but eventually.

I heard rumors of them appearing in Loki, but I'd take that with a grain of salt

Regardless of that, I hope they keep the romance to a minimum

I’m hoping that Monica will hook up with Jericho Drum in the MCU. I think implied he’ll show up in a doctor strange movie.
I just hope they both have the appropriate accents when they do.
