John Stewart: Green Lantern Appreciation 2021

I read the DC anthology series with Ridley's take on John Stewart and Yrra. I thought it was short, but sweet. What I like most about this issue, is that John Ridely acknowledged Van Jensen's direction. It was a good short story about John making a choice on whether Yrra should have any kind of free will. It's nice to see other talented writers wanting to write John Stewart.

I wouldn't mind seeing a John Stewart origin story with Katma being featured. I think it would be a good idea, especially for new John Stewart readers to understand John's past love interest.

I must know nothing of the Green Lantern lore because I'm an "outsider."

I must have an agenda to tear down what has come before because I'm not interested in rehashing stories that have been told already.
