I want a younger John for this animated movie to coincide with the other leaguers being on the younger side. Also it should open up possibilities for him to be written with more flair than when he's portrayed to be older.

I think it will be an origin story, it’s been a long enough time since we got a GL movie that I think they’ll want to reintroduce the concept for John (if it’s him).

Apokolips War was incredibly gory and violent. They certainly aren’t squeamish about such things.
