I think it's because he's smiling, and in a generally pleasant mood.

John presented as being happy really stands out to me.

Man, I really wanted to read Mosaic, but considering the writer, I can't bring myself to do it now. A tiny bit surprised they're reprinting an issue in the upcoming hardcover.

Trust me, I have a hard time separating the artist from the art a lot of times myself, but it wouldn't really be fair to Cully Hamner, who did great work on Mosaic, or the John Stewart character to bury that series just because the writer turned out to be an awful person. That John vs. Hal "Mind War" issue is an all-timer in my view and shouldn't be ignored because of one of the people involved in its creation. Otherwise, there's a whole lot of great comics (and art) we're going to lose.

Ha! I always try to look optimistically at these things, but, with GL TAS, the economic realities of creating a CGI cartoon are just too great a hurdle to be overcome here. It's possible that they could revive the series with a cheaper, cell-shaded incarnation so that we finally get to see the future plans for GL TAS come to fruition, but it would take a huge change in the cost of making that show to do so.

Until that happens, I'll just have to dream about CGI John Stewart hunting down by Hal Jordan, who'd been framed by Sinestro...

That falls on DC for dumping and chumping out John so much that you have to go that book for material. It's not like they did NOT have shots to do something especially when that cartoon was on.

We have seen folks do worst including killing folks-get work and folks Jedi Wave away those antics.

I personally think there should be an all different GL series. I'm just not digging the 3D animation. I personally prefer 2d
