I could barely make it out who it was, if it wasn’t for his glowing outline I’d have missed him entirely. All I can really see is the Sinestro Corp symbol on his chest.

I had to click on the image to get a closer look, but it does look like him. And it does look like the sinestro corps symbol. If it is him, that would mean he may make an appearance in this series.

i STRONGLY urge everyone not to take the covers literally regarding story points and who does or does not appear in the actual story. They're awesome but artists have license to flex (and we love that).

John as an ambassador is exactly the kind of development I was looking for. He's the master builder, let's see him build connections between cultures again.
