And even if cheating did "damage" Jean, it would likely be worth it in the long term AND short term to propel the character into a new situation and kill the black-and-white TV housewife view of the character for good.

Like if we could get the antiquated to glom onto Sue or Janet or some other husband-focused character so that Jean can modernize, that would be excellent.

We aren't going to be shown Jean's thoughts. This is a Jott era. She only has the thoughts that Scott has right now.

Scott will be fine, they won't kill him for years so Jean can be the X-men leader and date Logan.

I'm surprise how badly writers use Jean to highlight Logan and Scott, but never go deep in what she is living.

Marvel simply doesn't now what to do with Jean, so they box her with Scott. They don't care about character development for her.

Yes, I think this is why some say Jean should be on a new Avengers team.

I would like to see Jean be on a new book with a new team of non-X-Men. They would investigate strange mysteries on earth and even in space. Maybe a few members new to Jean and some Jean may be familiar with but never really worked with before.

Yes, nobody put up a effort for a storyline for Jean. It's funny see how many female superheroes are having their own love interests on comics lately and Jean is stuck with same old the worse ones.
I just hope for better days on her love life and better stories overall

I can't believe it's 2021, almost two years since House of X was released and people still fail to comprehend the concept of a open relationship when it's being thrown at their face. Nothing about that scene says cheating. How is Jean "cheating" with someone who lives in her house and shares a bedroom with her and her husband?

I think it his actually more interesting to ask, why is it so difficult to call it by its explicit name in 2021?! Why can we not get an ADULT conversation between Jean and Scott that confirms that they have an open relationship and that they are enjoying themselves and that their relationship is maybe better than ever before since they've opened the relationship up to have S.E.X. with other people and with several other people at the same time?

If it is really 2021 (whatever that phrase means), why on earth is pop culture in the U.S. so absolutely sexually backwards that it is still so difficult to be explicit about it (in 2021)?!

I think they should directly reference polyamory being the “new normal” on Krakoa. Make it clear that Jean and Scott are engaging in shared romances. Jean with Scott and Logan and Scott with Jean and Emma. Wolverine will always have a place in Jean’s heart as will Emma for Scott. It would be cool to see Scott and Jean address that this romantic situation, though bizarre to more close-minded people, is one that works for them. It’s 2021, it’s Krakoa, it’s a new era for mutantdom, things are dramatically changing for mutants all around the world with the creation of a Krakoan society, let’s loosen the reigns a little and allow Jean and Scott to explore different avenues romantically while also maintaining a unique romantic bond between each other.
