Superman has recovered from the devastating attack against him. After the life-changing events of issue #5, Jon Kent and his new ally Jay Nakamura are ready to strike back. They are on a collision course with the type of power that is used to swatting problems out of the way. But Superman is not so easily swatted.
Xebel formal wear? And Jackson making the rounds with other legacies.
Happy to see Jackson on the cover with Jon.
Aquamen is coming to DC in 2022
looks like DC is starting to realize Jackson/Kaldur coulda/shoulda been their "Miles Morales" for some time now. I wonder if they intend to make this a ongoing/seasonal and doing the dual Aquaman thing indefinitely like Marvel's doing with Spider-Man, or if this is gonna be a passing of the torch type of deal after Jackson "Becomes" in his mini.
either way, I'm excited for whatever is coming. Aquaman's roll from the last decade seems to be going strong into the 2020s.
THE SIGNAL (Duke Thomas) is DC's secret shonen protagonist so I made him a fandom wiki
also, check out "The Signal Tape" a Duke Thomas fan project.
currently following:
- DC: Red Hood: The Hill
- Marvel: TBD
- Manga (Shonen/Seinen): One Piece, My Hero, Dandadan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Kaiju No. 8, Reincarnation of The Veteran Soldier, Oblivion Rouge, ORDEAL, The Breaker: Eternal Force
"power does not corrupt, power always reveals."
I was expecting they'd give him an ongoing solo book or maybe this is just an event where he takes over 100%? Guess we'll see.
Ideally, the Aquafamily could be able to support two books Aquaman Legacy (Jackson) and King Aquaman (Arthur), but since that's basically impossible, I'm perfectly fine with a team-up book between the 2.
looks like Jackson might link up with Manta's pirate crew for a sec.
