Love seeing Rogue square off against the big guys, she can take a punch and come right back for more.

    I love these panels.
Rogue was always the shoe stone for Jugg, both for her super strength and for absorbing it.

Those panels show how dangerous bricks are, I remember Claremont mentioned many times that Rogue will suppress her strength a lot so as not to kill people, except that they were other super strong, something logical by the way, even if she had an extremely low level like Steve Rogers that does not even reach class 3, it would be suffered a blow from him without restraining himself to kill any opponent who does not have super strength.

    Yup

One of my favorite artists for Rogue, alongside Coipel, Dauterman and Larraz
In total agreement with you about both your choices of Silvestri & Coipel...

...I would include the Bachalo version, as well.

I knew it! I agree with all of your picks and would add Jim Lee, who drew an amazing Rogue. Iconic, really.

Jean needed a whole new costume. Her last X-Factor one was cool. No replacement was needed.

I will never get people's love for this look. It was overused and honestly a little bland. No personality whatsoever

Me neither, especially because of the x_x color combination. Blame the animation of the 90's

Although I will always love that jacket, not the rest, you can go that I will not miss it at all lol.
    But the jacket can stay.

The Whilce Portacio design was sublime (below), though I would've loved if Jim Lee's preliminary redesign for Jean (second below) in the late 80's - it seems they were going to bring back Phoenix - would've made the cut. Even if they didn't go the Phoenix route, they could've kept the fundamentals of his design.

    Lee:

    Anyway, Lee drew her fabulously:

Seriously! I blame the hell out of the TAS. For all the things it got right, sexy southern belle Rogue was not one of them. She was punk rock! I miss those days! It's also why I loved her Gala look! It took that route and went with it.

Jean's hair was insane! I loved it!
    Her Lee design was great!
Lee drew the hell outta Rogue. Too bad they went with sexy vs her actual personality...

I loved the length of Portacio Jean's hair.

And Rogue looks so much better with auburn hair and the white stripe.

    I do miss the uni-streak.
And I loved Jean's Portacio hair. That era of X-Factor had crazy good art!

Would've been neat to see the new Phoenix design in action during the late '80s, but I still liked what Simonson was able to accomplish...

Agree with everyone on the Portacio hair. So indulgent and fabulous. I loved how he drew Jean. Also, I don't think anyone has drawn Rogue as sexy and potent as Jim Lee did.

    Just saw this on Twitter:
