Hyperion is an eternal as well, he discovered it during his stay in 616, it is how he was able to heal his sight and recover his vision powers, it happened in the original Quasar serie Originally Posted by OscarDCassio

If Thanos isn't part of the machine's systems how would he be excluded? Sui and Mentor revived on earth before being excluded. They would have needed to capture him. Also none of the Eternals imply that Thanos was in the exclusion and escaped or was let out, they all seem surprise that he is there at all. More to the point the part about the Titans not being true Eternals means most likely none of them are included on the 100 list which includes the excluded.

It’s possible that, despite the claims of the Eternals, that Titans do count; and as Starfox and Thanos have been to Earth while most of the others weren’t, some aspect of them was captured by the Machine

We'll probably find out by issue 6 who "E" and "T". Gillen is definitely emphasizing the Excluded as a mean to expand the Eternal backstory and explain the contradictions like how there can 100 Eternals while Thanos/Eros/Elysius and the other Titans exist. Originally Posted by OscarDCassio
