My mind, my mind. But if my poor memory serves at all, I think that Namornita and Frankie were clearly very associated with the FF, but not considered members in the same way that She-Hulk, Darla D(even).

I mean, if they are 'FF' than shouldn't Thundra or Tigra who basically hung around awhile also be there?

Longer ago than that, Sue recruited Dr. Doom to lead the four against the Overmind and a possessed Reed.

Silver Surfer is as much this sort of 'defacto' FF member that Namornita would be, considering how often he has been with them.

Namorita was actually part of a substitute FF roster -- Torch, Nita, She-Hulk and Ant-Man. That roster only lasted for one arc (while Reed, Sue and Ben were trapped in the Negative Zone), but she was technically a member of an FF roster.

As for Frankie, she never quite officially became a member, but there was talk in the book at the time about making her an official member and renaming the team the "Fantastic Five". She just ended up leaving before things got that far.

Thundra and Tigra hung around for a while, but there was never any talk of them sticking around permanently.
