Yes, that a one slightly later FF issue when there was confusion of Crystal as being the Goddess Ixchtal.

Alas, after that, I believe Crystal did not appear for a few years, and when she did, she already had found and saved Pietro, signaling the end of her and Johnny. And also seeing Crystal in the FF and her powerful displays.

Yay, Crystal is back to her long iconic hair!

I don't think she's back to it. Everyone on that cover is representing an different era of the FF, and looking as they did when they were members. Too bad. I love the long red hair with the black band.

Or just someone's idea to make Crystal "new" or "different". I do not like it. I like the "old" Crystal.

I was under the impression that either Stefano Caselli just liked short hair or it was attempt at looking modern/stylish . He did Crystals redesign, designed swain, gave Iso and Frenzy side cuts, and iirc quite a few of the background characters wandering the ship had similar hair styles.

Agreed. I think they just wanted to update her look. .and that's what Stefano did. I agree they had similar hairstyles but I like how Crystal looks with it. Looks like they decided to keep it to in the latest ff.
