Another year of the Emerald Archer and as usual, I'm here to celebrate some of his best eras!

The Silver Age is cool too, especially Jack Kirby's work.

A new year, a new chance at an ongoing. Come on, Ollie!
Happy New Years!!! Honestly reading Mike Grell, Green Arrow: Year One, Denny O’Neill/Neal Adam’s run and Kevin Smith run reminded me what I love about Green Arrow. Honestly I prefer his Seattle adventures more than anything tbh. The Urban Robin Hood/Champion of the people works for his character as well as the swashbuckling adventurer personality.

I was honestly hoping Arrow's popularity would lead to an animated series or animated film on GA (more closely resembling the comics) but no, all that monkey's paw did is harm the Green Arrow IP.
Here's the Who's Who entry from Green Arrow Annual #2 (1989):
"It's fun and it's cool, so that's all that matters. It's what comics are for, Duh."
Words to live by.
This cover is still stunning to me, and a favorite after all these years.
