I don't think so. Jim Lee (foolishly) wants DC putting out less books. GA is a staple, he always had a book. They could've just had a new creative team after issue #50.

I don't think so. Jim Lee (foolishly) wants DC putting out less books. GA is a staple, he always had a book. They could've just had a new creative team after issue #50.

Okay can I ask WHY he would want that? We just got Conner Hawk back in the Robin book, would be nice to have them interact and have the Arrow family as a book if you can't do it as a solo deal.

Aquaman & GA seems an odd pairing, but I'll give it a whirl. That said, I'd rather see the band back together either in Star City or Seattle again.

Define "always".

Green Arrow didn't get his own book until 1983, and that was just a 4 issue min-series.



It wasn't until late 1987 (with a 1988 cover date) that he got his first regular, on-going book.

That may be, but they both had features in the same comic book (first More Fun Comics, then Adventure Comics) for a long time after they first began back in 1941.

A mini-series is an entirely different critter than an on-going.

Besides, even if they're willing to commit to a Green Arrow on-going, who would they get to write it? Do the art?
And how would Bendis' current use of Ollie play into that?

I actually do not mind what Bendis is doing with Ollie. I actually like it in a way.

For the writer of a new on going? I have no clue there.
