T'Challa
A.K.A. The Black Panther
King of Wakanda
King of the Dead and The Champion of Bast
Two-Time Time Magazine "Person Of The Year"
Six-Time People Magazine "Sexiest Man Alive"
Those 4 were also the first to show up in the New 52 Justice League. You can tell the creators thought those 4 would be their most popular in mainstream adaptation, lol
I really think it's just due to them being straight white males and Aquaman being widely regarded as a joke.
And 3 of them are. Barry is more popular than any non-Trinity male JL member. And clearly they did not anticipate WB to botch Hal's movie the way they did, alas WB's incompetence devaluing and destroying entire character brands is nothing new at this point. Cyborg himself can sadly attest to that as well. Anyway this is supposed to be a Cyborg appreciation thread.

Funny how both of Barry's shows cribbed heavily from Wally's runs and the defining trait of modern Barry is how much of a screw up he is.
Reading List (Super behind but reading them nonetheless):
DC: Currently figuring that out
Marvel: Read above
Image: Killadelphia, Nightmare Blog
Other: The Antagonist, Something is Killing the Children, Avatar: TLAB
Manga: My Hero Academia, MHA: Vigilanties, Soul Eater: the Perfect Edition, Berserk, Hunter X Hunter, Witch Hat Atelier, Kaiju No. 8
And Cyborg and WW & Aquaman should have been showcased like the other 4. You can toss Justice League on something and it excludes members.
That exclusion of Cyborg, WW & Aquaman was not limited to-it included a lot of stuff. And in Cyborg's case he was still being seen in stuff from Teen Titans.
Why did I want his history with the Titans returned? Because then we get simple scenes like this where he rushes in to help his friend who he has a long standing history with. ALSO....cool to see he can fly.
For context, this is the preview for the next issue of Nightwing. Dick got knocked out and now that he’s conscious again he quickly called off the attack team that was on its way, because you know they care about their friend.

"It's fun and it's cool, so that's all that matters. It's what comics are for, Duh."
Words to live by.
Yes I did love it because i'm going to love anytime my faves are on an adventure in a different setting especially cosmic and the cherry on top of this odyssey was having Darkseid being part of the story with Victor and Co.
Yeah I was already informed that it became Jessica's story

honestly I more or less stuck out the rest of the series in the hope they'd spin their heel-turns into like upgrades or something, and while that never happened (quite the opposite actually) I'll say that if you are a fan of Jess you definitely should check it out when/if you can ever look past the glaring blemish that is their treatment of Cyborg and the original team; all things considered it was a pretty good showcase of her character. It actually makes me upset because to give Jess a decent run they took Cyborg from a direction that looked like it was setting him up to get some development, wear clothes, and be a leader to him being a robotic goon of Darksied that only says ping where the only times he's behaving like a human is when he's warning and moping to Jess telepathically or something. it's like, if you had no interest in the principle cast, why take the book?
