That is a great design. Man I wish they'd stuck with the Reis look after Walker left.

Yeah, shame they didn't get more use out of it.

Fortunately Cyborg’s look on both Doom Patrol and Young Justice seems to have been influenced by the Reis design.

This is pretty progressive for Cyborgs image, kinda like that scene from Doom Patrol with him on dating apps. It makes him someone to desire rather than a floating head.

NTT and 2003 TT show was much more balanced when it came to giving each individual member the spot light and Cyborg even went on to lead Titans East in the show. Cyborg's romantic life often took a backseat to his struggles of being half machine /half human but he's had quite a few romantic partners nonetheless. Unlike other Titans I think Cyborg could use some more romantic drama in his life.

If we are talking cartoons, Cyborg was also paired with Bumblebee whom I thought was a more interesting pairing than Cyborg and Jinx. There was also the cavewoman he kissed who may or may not have been Sarah Simms ancestor. Though I can't see Bumblebee as a viable partner for him in the comics since she is with Mal Duncan.

As far as comics, I like his Sarah Charles, a STAR labs intern as his love interest:

If not her then, Cynthia Adams:

Who first appeared in Teen Titans Spotlight #13 (1987) which pits Cyborg against Two-Face. Notable for being the first DC story that J Michael Straczynski wrote for DC. It's actually an interesting tale: https://about-faces.livejournal.com/6566.html

Cyborg was never paired with bumblebee in the cartoons. thats just fans wanting it to happen because they are both black characters and there is no chemistry there. as far as the comics we all know that his comic lover shouldve always been the original sarah... sarah simms.

He didn't actually have any one love interest in the cartoons. He had just as many scenes with Bumblebee as he did with Sarasim in Cyborg the Barbarian
