Ditto. Between work exploding and mom's going downhill, Only just remembered a new book would have been out.
    Questions though:

Mr. Terrific mentions to Wally that he could 'move at the speed of sound'. Then during Wally's running around, his Speed Force Lighting is yellow.

Can't remember, but I know they depowered Wally from Dr. Manhattan's energy, but did they depower him down by that much?
Parental care is way exhausting. Gained insight into what my parents went through when I was a baby. Not fun, but what ya gonna do? (Read comics, obviously.)

    Ah.
I was looking at my League of Comic Geeks pull list and it still has the regular page total.

Sadly the modern comic landscape makes very hard for a second Flash Wally title to exist, unless somehow The Flash franchise becomes massive like GL was in the 00s. So when Barry comes back the best case scenario is that they both co-star in the title.

But enough of the fatalistic posts, in a more positive note and assuming Adams is allowed to continue his run for a long time, here's the stuff that we can look forward to that was set-up:

-Obviously something's going on with whatever place Savitar was thrown into
-The potentially dangerous Speed Force Surge that has overcharged Wally making him insanely powerful
-The mysterious Glaive that's coming to Earth
And all the adventures Gold Beetle mentioned she had with Wally:
    -The Darkloch of Rannistan
    -The Galaxy Five
    -The Galactic Space Race

It seems they're actually going to space which is insane and I'm all for it! This is what comics are for. Hopefully Adams reunites Wally and Kyle again!

All of that sounds awesome, a much needed break from the endless Speed Force and evil speedster stories of the past decade. Especially interested in the Galactic Space Race!

Probably received better than the Forces arc, if nothing else.

Adams wouldn't be ballsy enough to bring Mopee back would he?

Yes he did! I really hope Adams gets a good long stretch on the book. I am LOVING what he's giving me.

I hope he can stay for at least 50 issues, but that would be like four years with a monthly schedule. After all the **** Wally fans have been through we deserve this.

    3. Barry is basically written the same as DCAU Wally, which only adds to the confusion
I grew up with the show and it was my introduction to Flash was the show. I always thought of Flash as Wally and got into comics afterwards. When Kid Flash appeared on the 2003 TT show I knew it was Wally West.

The confusion is mostly because after DC brought Barry Allen back and they tried giving him Wally's personality making them interchangeable. The confusion is mostly with the younger fans.

To be fair, the whole idea of the Flash taking elements from all three and by
1990’s Flash tv series: Barry having Tina McGee as supporting cast, largely based in STAR Labs

DCAU: Wally’s homebase being Central City and being a police scientist, largely being seen as turning as the Flash as an adult and never being Kid Flash outside an Easter egg

Smallville: Despite Bart being the main “Flash”, having Barry/Wally’s origin, being a JLeaguer and more of an contemporary of Smallville’s take off the Justice League and interviews saying they were inspired by DCAU’s take on Wally

The Batman: Alan Burnett dubbed him Barry Allen despite being played by Wally’s V.A. From STAS and having a more Impulsive personality

Even before Barry came back, this has been a reoccurring thing where Flashes take elements from each other and basically streamlining to fit whoever is the main Flash at the time. I grew uo with DCAU’s take of Wally but also comics like DC: The New Frontier, JLA: Liberty and Justice. So yes they had different personalities, it also came to over exaggerated some elements of each personality (Barry simply being the serious or more to the books Flash while Wally has a sense of humor being a huge reoccurring myth).

The Central/Keystone difference is pretty irrelevant all things considered. I think there was one episode it happened in for the Flash museum stuff, which is something that has always been a part of both Barry and Wally. And the police scientist bit was maybe 10 seconds of his entire screentime and never mattered to the character. There's nothing particularly Barry about DCAU Flash.
