Oh, Rakzo is mad at Waid again.
Hey Rakzo! o/
But let's go over the usual discussion:
- The whole "Wally has surpassed Barry" thing was mentioned 3 times during Waid's run, and implied once more in his second run. (We had this discussion, I went back and counted, some good years ago).
- Wally never believed what Cobalt Blue said about Barry.
- Cobalt Blue was actually crazy. Nothing that he thought about Barry was right, in any way.
And now, for the new bit:
- Williansom leaned into the speed force way more than Waid ever did. Like, WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY more.
Kay, bye guys. o/

Well looks like DM #7 had more Wally content(positive content) than expected.
More optimistic in the fact that Wally might be considered an A lister again in Infinite Frontier.
Whose voice do you hear in your head when you are reading Wally West in the comics?
That's great to hear. I was just thinking how disappointing it was in the beginning that Wally was seemingly given a big part in DM by harnessing the anti crisis energy and making the universe right only to show up in a few panels in the first 3 issues and then disappear.
But I am curious to see what DM #7 sets up.
My name is Wally West. I"m the fastest man alive. I"m the Flash.
Favorite Heroes - 1-Flash/Wally West, 2-Superman, 3-Green Lantern/Hal Jordan, 4-Nightwing, 5-Hawkman, 6-Firestorm, 7-Supergirl/Linda Danvers, 8-Zatanna, 9-Robin/Tim Drake
I'm not a fan of such jabs. Sure, it looks like they were mocking Flash being Metron, but if someone picks up this book who has no idea about behind the scenes stuff?
Death Metal #7 was fine.
I can’t wait to see what it means for Wally, it’s great to see him being an important part of this new era.
