Sue's role in Identity Crisis is textbook fridging, woman as an object writing. You can't have a better example besides bringing up a minor female character, raping them, and killing them, all for the purposes of the story rather than its purpose for her and...to make the man she was romantically involved with suffer. The only way it could be worse is if they also treated her as a sexual object, I suppose, but they already had their hands full with the rest of it.
    Minor correction.

In terms of plot reveal, Sue was murdered, revealed as pregnant then raped.

    ...yeah.

No, Ray isn't a JSA member. He was actually briefly with Young Justice, and was there to commiserate with Superboy and Impulse when their solo books, like his, were cancelled. He actually debuted in his own book in 1992, so Ray's involvement with the Freedom Fighters only came later.
Im talking about the original Ray. The father not the son.

It's a 'Which Crossover was more offensive in general', spiraling out of Wally's mistreatment in HiC.

Though Wally was a main character in ID Crisis, so it's not so far afield

Sorry 'bout that. I think this falls under the "It's easier to kvetch about bad things (IC, HiC) then praise things that seem be working well (Wally's emerging status quo)."

Re: Wally - During his brief "powered by Doctor Manhattan" phase, I think it would've been hilarious if he'd taken to running around naked.

I can't unhear Michael Rosenbaum as Wally West.

I think they did a good job of distilling the horny glory hound from the Mike Baron/William Messer Loebs run and making him charming and entertaining instead of unsavory and unlikable. I'm also glad Wally was the one to introduce the Speed Force in animation and I like his relationship with Hawkgirl and John Stewart and that he became the heart of the team. 'Flash and Substance' is one of the best episodes and a great celebration of the Flash lore.

You mean from Justice League Unlimited? Probably my favorite version of the flash.

I assume you'll be reading Justice League Infinity then? The comic is a sequel to Unlimited.

In trade most likely, I find tie-in comics are a case by case basis of quality. Sometimes someone has a really good story or original thoughts on the property and other times it can be just a cheap cash grab.
