I really liked Emma's appearance in Cable today. It's clear she cares about the kid, and even though it's not explicit, it does come across as a bit step-mother-ish in a way.

God I hope not I like Jean as a character, but have always found Cyclops to be pretty boring, if not the most boring of X-Men characters. All their attempts to make him more interesting have just succeeded in making him unlikeable on top of being boring.

I found Scott Summers less boring and still likable when he was in relationship with Emma Frost. He was even funny…

I looked around - the panel is from 497 but it spills into 498. I don't know all of the story but It seems Emma is using her powers to make them appear to look like that and blend in while looking for lady mastermind.
