I love this so much. Emma has been written so well for most of her X-history, we are really spoiled compared to other fans. I hope this becomes a print. And I'm thrilled we get to see RD's take on Pepe Larraz's HoX version.

What is the slightly black costume towards the left?

The only uniform I slightly wish was there was the Dodson/Silverstri Dark X-Men one.

I would never dare speak ill of Mr. Dauterman, but I’m a little disappointed that the new x-men look gets to be front and center. Literally all the other costumes here are better.

It is. Her ONLY alternative universe version. Which they could have left without. Old Man Logan and Age of Apocalypse would have been other notable alternative ones.

I realized her look with the hint of black on the left is her shopping look from the Bendis run. I don't like her in black but her Dark X-Men look and Black King would have been great. Praise be for on IvX ending look.

He obviously loves X-Men and the characters. He is managing to rank up with Pepe Larraz for artist of the HiX era and he isn't drawing interiors really. It's crazy!

I was so glad to see his take on the PL HoX look too since he usually sticks to his own (also fantastic) designs. Now I hope we get Christian!

I have a print of his 90s TAS X-Men, I would love to add this, and his Pride Iceman cover.

Dauterman has specifically said the New X-Men look is his favorite, and it seems like he's been putting his favorite looks for each character front and center (specifically the 90s looks for Jean, Rogue, and Storm).

This issue had me in tears. Who would of thought jumbo carnation had all that in him. lol.

I also loved the art it was very stylized but in a good way. Kind of reminded me of Bengal or bachalo with the energy. The cuckoos were a treat here too. Duggan i think has found his sweet spot on this title. Best issue since 13.
