Adrienne as a character was a lame idea... I really never liked her ... she shows a lack a imagination, she is basically a mini villanous Emma with boring powers.

Yes, giving me very early 90’s Madonna Erotica era vibes. She looks incredible. Still weird writing though.

The diamond signature was lazy. And the issue was badly written. Emma was written as concerned and even respected Betsys privacy when asked to but it was boring as hell

Excalibur is a lame tittle. let´s face it. Why was Emma calling Elizabeth "Betsy"? They are not friends and Emma hates calling people Betsy or Kitty...The art remains so poor.. all the faces are the same... Emma´s Madonna look (well spotted!) was nice though.

Like I said in the thread- if this is what Duggan meant, then it's the dumbest moment not just for her but for any character after House of X/P10. She gains nothing by doing it, and risks significant blow-back, specially because she doesn't know what would be Moira's reaction. This sounds like another one of Duggan's stupid "look at how badass my female characters are, #feminism" that is just poorly thought out.

Except naming the hospital in honour of Moira is neither "badass" nor "feminist".

If (huge, gigantic, gargantuan IF) that is indeed the premise...that Emma knows or at the very least suspects about Moira then, it wouldn't be completely improbable for Emma to have found out. And just how she found out Xavier and Erik's secret could make for an interesting sub-plot.

And why would she...a trusted QC member...get blow-back from either of them? The secret is going to be revealed eventually, their best recourse would be to bring her in completely.

Emma learning all about Moira and who she really is could be very interesting to see, having them 3, Erik, Charles and Moira bring Emma completely in and give her all the information about Krakoa and the future of it could be so much fun if done right. As of right now Emma is pretty much one of the most influential mutants in Krakoa right now and this could expand her presence in the nation

Though isn't naming the hospital after a a person who to most of the world, Emma included, is perceived to be a human a great strategy? Moira being a mutant is know to a select few. The majority of the outside world knows Moira is a human who, as Emma said, cared for both human and mutants. What better person to name the hospital after.

I agree Basi. That's a sound possibility. It is a bit of irony that Moira is a mutant and why Xavier and Erik were caught off guard.
Though, knowing what we do of Emma...it's hardly likely any moves she makes are not going to be quite as straightforward as that.

It could've also been done just to draw them out, thereby confirming any "suspicions" she might have. They have to be wondering how much she knows or suspects, or even if she knows anything at all.

side note: I wonder if there were any "clues" in one of Moira's "redacted" notes regarding Xavier and Erik that may have had anything to do with Emma. Moira certainly never told them EVERY thing she knew and planned and Emma (being one of the three main mutants with vast financial fortunes and as Diammandis points out, great influence) could have been an "Ace in the hole" should things not go according to plan.

*and now I've fallen down the speculation well and struggling to get out.

If Emma's purpose to name it after Moira was to indicate she knows (which might not), it is stupid. She gains NOTHING by tipping her hand, and risks Xavier, Magneto and Moira retaliating (specially the latter), perhaps even mindwiping her, or killing her off and then removing the information from her in the Cerebro backups, not to mention taking whatever measures they find appropriate. And Emma would not be the first, the second, or probably not even the 10th name any of them would share the information with.

If, and again it's a big if, Emma knows it, them the only reasonable course would be if she kept completely quiet and have serious safeguards, only revealing it if they moved against her.

Looking at Erik and Charles reaction or just using minor telepathy on them during the unveiling, is probably all she needed to verify.
