I don't think Wonder Woman ever encountered Vartox and yet I feel like he would make a phenomenal antagonist/ counterpart to her. His powers are about astral projection and psyonic abilities, a sort of new age superhero, which fits very well with how Marston had Diana and the amazons use telepathy in conjunction with their technology, and the secret martial arts they invented.

I'm not really interested in the chauvinistic harasser who can't stop throwing himself at women, but more with the original version whose wife died because unbeknownst to her she had always been psychically linked to a human woman and when that woman was killed, his wife also became brain dead. He was a honorable spiritual dude from a world that searched for ways to transcend the physical plane.

He has such a unique power set and lgbt friendly look, and we could get back to the transgressive nature of Wonder Woman through artful and creative stories about identity and expression.

Imagine Circe, who begins her life as a 'golden child' healer, ..like a Dalai Lama - from Colchis, travelling all over the world, healing the sick. To procure wealth and protection for their poor nation, a teenaged Circe's father marries her off to the brutish king of a wealthier nation. Her new husband savagely beats and tortures her, until she cries out to the same gods, she has prayed to all her life to heal others. When they don't intervene, young Circe kills him, only to be chased into the Underworld, by her own, once worshipful, people - betrayed by gods and men...

Of course, she returns, unleashing her sorcerous power the ungrateful Colchistines and all mankind, wholesale...Carrie-style, but wa-aay bigger. While the myth of her banishment to Aea is created by men, the Olympians actually send her to an asteroid, Sorca, at the edge of the known universe, ..and the rest is history! It's epic.

There's a whole cycle of stories you can springboard from Circe's new story, in a way that you can't, with WW's other villains.
COMBINING THE BIGBADITUDE OF THANOS WITH CHEETAH'S FEROCITY, IS JANUS WONDER WOMAN'S GREATEST SUPERVILLAIN?...on WONDABUNGA!!! Look alive, Kangaliers!

I don’t think WW writers make good use of the fact that several of her enemies are “doctors”.

Dr. Psycho, Dr. Poison, Dr. Cyber, even Cheetah as Dr. Minerva, and Dr. Cale. There’s potential there to do some really interesting things but people don’t see it for some reason.

I think even Rucka pointed out that you apparently need an M.D. or Ph.D to fight Wonder Woman, lol. Since so many of them are doctors for some reason.

Hypnotic Woman is in tomorrow's Future State: Suicide Squad. Although I have a bad feeling that she and the other "Justice League" copies aren't gonna fare too well.

I'm curious to see what her actual design would look like. If they go for something more classic, or a revamp with classic elements?

If she's in a Wonder Woman 3, it's a look I'd hope they go for.

Cheetah on the variant cover of Future State: Suicided Squad #2. Guess she's on the Suicided Squad again.
